Developer documentation API v1

Technical reference

APIs, data contracts and quantitative methods for Seer’s financial infrastructure.

Build with Seer

Connect a hosted or external agent to Seer’s evidence, computation and financial services. The Quickstart takes a newly issued connection through identity discovery, instrument selection and a completed research result using standard-library Python.

The API reference defines the wire contracts. Tool discovery supplies the input and output schemas for each enabled capability. Financial actions use a separate proposal and authorization lifecycle; a successful research request does not grant execution permission.

Service map

ServiceResponsibilitiesPrimary records
AgentsVersion model bindings, instructions, tool grants and budgets.Agent revision; run; grant references.
EvidenceNormalize source records and preserve identity, lineage and availability time.Evidence record; snapshot; instrument reference.
IntelligenceCompute quantitative measurements and horizon-specific forecasts.Calculation artifact; forecast; evaluation manifest.
PortfolioOptimize allocations against account state, risk and execution constraints.Account snapshot; portfolio proposal.
Execution and settlementAuthorize actions, track fills and reconcile asset movements.Authorization; action; fill; settlement.
Economic servicesMeter service consumption and reconcile SCC commitments and rewards.Usage charge; reservation; reward allocation; journal posting.

Core conventions

HTTP resources use the /v1 namespace and UTF-8 JSON. Monetary values use integer strings with an explicit asset and scale. Timestamps include a timezone offset. Agent configurations, evidence and calculations carry revision identifiers so each result can be reproduced against its original inputs.

Source observations, forecasts, portfolio proposals, authorizations, fills and settled movements have distinct records and state transitions. An accepted request establishes durable admission; its response identifies the resource or job used to follow subsequent progress.
