Reward-to-settlement lifecycle
Connect staking eligibility to SCC issuance and separately confirmed uses.

};Period closure and issuance
Each 24-hour reward period closes against reconciled eligible profit and a frozen eligibility snapshot. The allocation records its treasury policy revision, participant weight and rounding. It transitions to issued only when the unique journal posting exists. Recomputing a period returns the recorded allocation without issuing it twice.
Period boundaries, eligibility, weighting and unstaking follow the applicable program policy. A period with zero eligible profit can produce zero reward.
A use of SCC
| Stage | Record | Completion condition |
|---|---|---|
| Commit | Reservation against an available balance. | Atomic reservation recorded. |
| Consume for service | Metered usage and SCC posting. | Billable service outcome under its rate policy. |
| Redeem toward investment | Credit movement linked to conversion and order. | Execution and settlement checked independently. |
| Redeem for withdrawal | Credit movement linked to payment instruction. | Payment confirmation under the supported route. |
| Correct or release | Attributable adjustment or remaining commitment. | External outcome established before releasing uncertain funds. |
Denomination and financial rights
The program denomination is 1 SCC = $1 in platform value under its use and redemption terms. It is not the market price of $SEER, a claim to a fixed return or a guarantee that an investment keeps its purchase value.
Tokenized-stock terms define exposure, issuer obligations, custody, corporate-action treatment and redemption rights. A zero Seer platform trading fee for an eligible purchase does not eliminate spread, network or third-party costs. The purchase preview and final record identify each cost component separately.
Funding and uncertainty
Approved reward funding, outstanding SCC and external commitments remain linked throughout redemption. A payment timeout leaves the obligation unresolved. Replacement payments and balance releases depend on reconciliation of the original instruction, preserving the relationship between funded value and spendable credits.
Period finalization and deterministic allocation
A finalized reward period binds reconciled eligible profit, the treasury-policy revision and an immutable eligibility snapshot. The participant weights and rounding policy produce a deterministic allocation set. Each allocation has a unique journal identity, allowing retries to recover issuance without creating a second entitlement.
A correction to the profit base or participant eligibility creates an attributable adjustment rather than rewriting an issued record. The original period, reason and resulting funding obligation remain linked. A zero-profit period records its outcome without implying that accounting cadence guarantees a positive reward.
